Chiropractic Marketing

Marketing tends to be the 9 letter bad work in our profession. It's tough out there! It's hard to do!  Cost so much! It never works anyway!  Have you heard yourself saying those exact words in your head or even out loud?  I have! Marketing is not a hard thing, its a necessary thing. However having the right energy, passion and power behind it makes the world of difference. So you know what?  Lets look at what marketing and purpose have to do with each other... Well, if purpose is the steering wheel of your car, then marketing is the engine, and patients are the fuel. You see, you can have lots of marketing and lots of patients coming, but without the right intention or purpose, you drive (steer) it into a ditch. And that is where purpose behind your marketing, the vision comes in. It seems like I’ve got plenty of new ones coming in, but I don’t know where they’re going. Their in and then out the door in a few visits! Well, we need to take a look at your belief systems. There’s something completely out of whack. Once again if purpose is your steering wheel, marketing is your engine then the patients are your fuel. You can have lots of purpose, so your steering well, but you have no marketing, so your behind the wheel looking through a perfectly clear windshield out to an empty parking lot. Is that you?
You can’t just keep talking about above, down, inside out. You can’t just keep talking about subluxation, choking off life force thinking that adjustment is just truly the answer. That’s all great, you’ve got the words in place, but we need to take it out and we need to tell it, we need to tell it to as many people as possible. You can’t keep it to yourself anymore. If purpose is your steering wheel, marketing is your engine, patients are the fuel, then rev up the engine and straiten the wheel, cause we are ready to go!  Independently they are nothing, collectively, they can save the world. And we will.

Planning

We have all heard it said again and again..."No Plan is a Plan to Fail!"  We all know its true but yet we fall short of actually 'doing' it! Planning seems to be the past thing on our list, right?  So many other things to do; I gotta go here and I gotta do this first and that second! Wait!!!!  I have to have your slam on the brakes because planning is the most important thing you could do above all else. Why you ask?  Because without a plan your drift, you have no aim, you are floating out in 'I wish it would' and 'I hope it will' instead of making it happen by following a distinct course of action. Now is the time... Sit down and take 30 minutes today to plan for your week. It's a simple start that allows you to think, strategize and plan for the upcoming weeks events and needs. Whether its delegating tasks to my team on a delegation sheet I drop in their box Monday morning or whether its facebook posts I plan for the next 2 weeks and lay them out for my team to post! It all works but you have to work the time to plan. Once you start planning, even 30 minutes at a time, you can grow to a full out planning jam session with yourself, your team, your coach, whomever!!!  Growing becomes easy when you plan to succeed and plan to empower and plan to educate. Trust me, I have guided many teams to a greater level of success and this is the one things that make the most difference so DO IT!
